As we approach our 100th show, we invite you to share a true, personal story in just 60 seconds.
Big or small, life-changing or quietly unforgettable: your milestone could be part of ours.
Our 10 favorites will be featured during THE bEARâs 100th Show at Theater im Delphi.

Recording tips (so it looks great on a big screen)
Hold your phone horizontally (landscape)âcinema screens are wide.
Find a quiet space (no music, wind, traffic).
Face natural light or a lamp; avoid strong backlight.
Stabilize your phone (table, stack of books, or tripod).
Frame from shoulders up; look toward the lens.
Test 5â10 seconds and replay before doing your take.
Bring energyâa smile, a clear voice, a relaxed gesture or two.

First Time on Stage at THE bEAR
âI remember my first night at THE bEAR. I didnât even put my name in the hat. I was too nervous. But a friend nudged me, and suddenly there it was â my name being called. My heart raced, my hands shook, my throat went dry. I thought: I canât do this. But then I looked out and saw all these faces, waiting, listening. Not judging, just⊠listening. And when I got to the funny part, they actually laughed. By the time I sat down, my knees were still shaking â but something else had shifted. That was the night I discovered that telling a story out loud wasnât terrifying. It was thrilling. And it felt like a milestone.â

The story and recording are your own and you have the right to share them.
You grant THE bEAR non-exclusive permission to screen your video at the 100th show and to use excerpts for event promotion (website/social), with credit to you.
If selected, we may lightly edit for length/clarity or add subtitles for non-English language stories.
Thereâs no payment; this is part of our nonprofit celebration of storytelling.
