THE bEAR is an open stage and cozy audience for Berliners to share extraordinary moments from their ordinary lives.

Calling all womxn of THE bEAR community!


If you’ve ever thought, “Does my story even matter?” or “Who would want to hear this at work?”—this night is for you.

Hosted by Female Speaking Berlin, this Friday night workshop is a joyful, empowering dive into the kind of storytelling that helps you speak up, stand out, and own the value of your lived experience.

Getting on stage a sharing your story is also an option!

You’ll learn how to:

  • Talk about your strengths without sounding like you’re bragging

  • Shape your wins into short, powerful stories you can use at work or on stage

  • Speak with more clarity, confidence, and presence

  • And maybe even plant the seeds for your next bEAR story

Dyane Neiman, Founder of THE bEAR and Co-founder Female Speaking Berlin

is a Berlin-based performer, choreographer, and award-winning communications trainer with over 13 years of international experience coaching scientists, creatives, changemakers, and entrepreneurs. Known for her dynamic presence and intuitive feedback, she brings a unique fusion of dance theatre and speaker coaching to her work. Dyane is also the founder of Berlin’s live storytelling stage THE bEAR and host of the True Stories Berlin podcast


Esther de Bruijn, professional theatre artist and Co-founder of Female Speaking Berlin

Esther de Bruijn

a cum laude graduate of the Academy of Theatre and Education in the Netherlands, brings her expertise in theatre, education, and intercultural communication to the world of public speaking. Her experience working across sectors—from health care to science—has shaped a coaching style that is curious, energizing, honest, and deeply human. She believes in creating a safe and joyful space that invites growth and authenticity.

Female Speaking Berlin is a women-led training company empowering womxn* to find and own their voice through the art of public speaking. Founded by Dyane and Esther: two theater-trained experts in storytelling, stage presence, and effective communication. We create supportive, high-impact workshops designed by and for womxn. Our mission is rooted in the belief that the world belongs to those who dare to speak up, and we’re here to ensure more female voices are heard. Our clients include UN Women, Falling Walls Female Science Talents, the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition, TEDx, and the Silbersalz Science & Media Festival.

Together, we support womxn from all walks of life to speak with clarity, presence, and purpose—whether on stage, in meetings, or in everyday life.
