THE BEAR Hamburg presents

La Famiglia

Stories from the heart & hearth

Eight stories. Eight storytellers. All true. Told live.

Family — the people we're born into, the ones we choose, the ones we can't get rid of, and the ones we wish we'd held onto longer. On May 29th, eight people step up to share a true story from their own life — no notes, no script, just the real thing.

What to expect

🎤 Eight storytellers, drawn at random from a hat ⏳ Five to seven minutes each — no notes, no props 🎶 Stories held and carried by live music 🗳 The audience votes for the story that moved them most 🍷 An intimate evening in Hamburg-Horn

Four stories. A short break. Four more. Two hours that tend to stay with you.

After 90+ shows and over 1,000 stories across Germany, THE BEAR keeps bringing together locals, expats, and internationals for evenings like this one.

Language

Hosted in English. Stories in both English and German — roughly half and half.

You don't need to understand every word to feel a story. Emotion travels beyond language. Every voice is welcome here, whatever language it comes in.
