THE bEAR presents LOVE - stories of passion

“Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it? It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up.”

Neil Gaiman, The Kindly Ones

We are ending the year telling true, personal stories about what makes our hearts explode.

Prepare a 5-min true, personal story which explores the idea of “love & passion” from all possible angles:

The smell of a fresh brewed coffee or a fine cigar; driving across town for the spiciest Thai food or the crunchiest crust of a fresh-baked sourdough bread; waiting 2 weeks in minus temperatures to capture a photo of a wild wolf or 2 years for him/her to say “yes”; the first glimpse of your baby, your Corvette, your future partner; spending weekends refurbishing wood furniture, flea market hopping, bargain hunting, pulling weeds, painting canvases, competing in karate, tango, or public speaking contests; pimping up your VW van, your hair, your house; diving into love despite all the red flags; the rise & fall of love affairs, blind dates, year-long marriages…

Tell us about loving life or the love of your life!

PS: We will be having our traditional end-of-the-year Potluck buffet in the intermission.

Please bring a finger food contribution.

Thanks!
