THE bEAR Berlin’s top 10 storytellers take the stage
Berlin’s popular open stage for true, personal stories told live without notes in English and German featuring the audience’s 10 Favorite winners from the last ten shows.
Storytellers explore, sometimes in unexpected ways an idea from Leonard Cohen:
“There is a crack, a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.”
With lively audience interaction and live music, these personal narratives are a high-wire act of shared experience which is both terrifying and exhilarating. On this summer solstice listen to fellow Berliners shine a light on life’s absurdities, hurdles, and poignant beauty.
Since 2015, THE bEAR has produced over 96 heartwarming shows inviting audiences on a naked stage to bare their souls: it’s just one mic, one light, and someone with a story they are burning to tell. The regularly sold-out evenings are a sign that the Art of the Raconteur is alive and rockin’ in Berlin!
